Hey there!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. This is my first post, and if you’re reading this, thank you for being here.

I’ve always dreamed of writing a novel. For years, the idea has been sitting in the back of my mind: a mix of high-stakes adventure, character-driven drama, sci-fi ambition, and fantasy world-building. But like so many dreams, it was easy to keep putting it off - life, work, and that voice in the back of my head whispering, “What if it’s not good enough?”

Well, I’ve finally decided to start.

I’m finally taking the first step. I’m calling this project The Freelancer of the Distant Star.

This blog is where I’ll be sharing my first-ever novel, written as a passion project and personal challenge. It’s inspired by the kinds of stories I love most - Japanese light novels like The Rising of the Shield Hero, anime like Mobile Suit Gundam, sci-fi epics like Star Trek, and more. Expect a bit of magic, a touch of politics, some mechs, a lot of personal growth, and maybe even a talking dog.

I’m not a professional writer, and this is all new territory for me. I don’t know exactly where this journey will lead, but I’m excited to take the first steps and see what I can build — word by word, chapter by chapter.

If you’re into fantasy, science fiction, coming-of-age arcs, or just want to follow along as someone finally chases a long-held dream, I hope you’ll stick around.

Let’s see where this story goes.

Thanks again for reading.

📘 What’s the story about?

At its core, The Freelancer of the Distant Star is about a young man who’s transported to another world and given no special powers or destiny. Branded “jobless,” he takes the long road to achieve his goals by training, growing, and helping those he meets, all while uncovering the hidden secrets of the world.

🛠️ What to expect from this blog

This blog is a hobby project, a creative outlet, and hopefully something others can enjoy along the way.

Thanks for stopping by — and if you’re into fantasy, isekai, sci-fi, or anime in general, I hope you’ll stick around!
